The push-ups destroyed me. I’ve got to work on my technique or something. The first 10 were unbroken but after that the most I cranked out was 7? And by round 3 no more than 5? Serious work coming on these and general pressing strength.

As always the push-ups were the hardest. I really hit the wall on Round 6, doing only sets of 2 & 3 push-ups. All pull-ups were normal kip. Shoulder felt good during and after the workout, but the rehab continues.
Congrats to new TitanFit member Jay. Jay is my coworker and I knew that if I could get him into the gym, he’d like it. It took me close to a year, but now he’s sipping the Kool-Aid. He’ll be sore for the next couple of days (weeks) but said that he’d return tomorrow.

I tore my hand pretty bad on Round 11. As always, the push-ups were the hardest.
I also want to welcome my neighbor Sharon to TitanFit. I told her about the gym on Friday evening and she researched the website. Today she decided to ride along and do her first workout with Herb. She’s found what she’s looking for and is our newest member! Congrats Sharon, stay consistent!
And finally, the best news. I registered for my Level 1 CrossFit certification today. While money is tight I seldom get the opportunity to attend a certification in my back yard. The only fear that I have is that chalk will not be allowed! That sucks. DJ and I will be traveling together, so if anyone in Columbus could put us up for a couple of nights, that would be great!

AMRAP is 20 minutes of:
5 Pullups
10 Pushups

This was my goal before I even began, beat the time of 1 round per minute. The first time I did this workout, Herb had me see how many minutes it took me to do 20 rounds. That was back in January, and it took me 23 minutes to complete those 20 rounds. Overall, I’m happy with my numbers. As always, the pushups were the hardest!
