My knees were burning badly on the 3rd round of squats. I had the same problem when I first began CrossFit. In addition, I’ve lost a lot of my conditioning. The road to recovery begins with one small step.

If I recall, the breakdown was as follows:
Push-up = 7
Sit-up = 15
Squat = 18
Pull-up = 6
Row = 6
Score = 52 (PR)
I really, really, really need to work on pressing strength! Yes, some of the pull-ups were butterfly. But I did both BF pull-ups and Press today without any shoulder pain. Maybe Josh tomorrow? We’ll see!

Another solid day on the diet. I’m going to be trying some new recipes in the near future and I’m anxious to see how they turn out.

I was very disappointed with my Push-ups and Pull-ups. I chose to do Pull-ups first, knowing that it is my weakest of the 5 exercises. On the 4th interval of the Pull-ups I lost my grip. My hand was already broken open, so I stayed off the bar. Why? I have no idea. In retrospect that was damaging. I think I could have finished with 8+ had I not done that.
I look forward to the next time this WO rolls around.
