TITANFIT is beginning On Ramp classes as a way to introduce new clients to the CrossFit protocol. These classes, led by Trainers such as myself, are geared to give new clients a broad overview of CrossFit and an introduction to some of the more common CrossFit movements and the standards of those movements.
The On Ramp classes will be a series of three sessions with a TITANFIT Trainer at a time convenient for us both. Each session should last approximately and hour and ideally all three of these sessions should take place within 7 – 10 days. Each session will consist of the following:
- A general overview of the CrossFit method.
- An explanation on form and technique of the common CrossFit movements.
- Hands-on training of the common CrossFit movements
- Discussion on scaling these movements to the ability of any individual
- Technique vs. Intensity
- And finally, we’ll finish with a short workout after each session that utilizes the movements you’ve just learned
After these three sessions, we will introduce you into our class structure at TITANFIT. At this point you will be familiar with a majority of the movements, and both you and your Trainer will know your limitations and which movements need to be scaled as you’re introduced to the CrossFit method.
