Power Clean & Jerk 1RM – up to 175# (95, 125, 145, 165, 175)

4 Rounds, not for Time:

  • 100M Prowler Push (4 plates, 3 plates, 2 plates, 1 plate (25# plate))
  • 53# KB Farmer’s Carry

First time back in the gym in a little over ten days.  Work might once again start interfering with my attendance.

100201 – Jerk & MetCon

Rack Jerk up to 175lbs.  Shoulder was hurting.

MetCon:  45lbs. Thrusters 1:00 on / 1:00 off for 10 minutes.  30 / 30 / 21 / 23 / 23

090714 – Jerk

Push Jerk up to 185lbs.  Spent to many reps at lighter weight.

Afterwards:  50 Burpees.  Time = 2:36.  Shoulders fried.

It’s Been Awhile

First day back after moving into a new house. Definitely felt the impact of a week off.

I also witnessed a stellar performance on Fran today @ TitanFit. SW hit Fran with a vengeance. He turned in a 4:55 time, with 21 UNBROKEN pull-ups!

Weight Training Day

Today I worked on my Front Squat and Jerk. I worked up to my 1RM for each to give me an indication of the progress I’ve made thus far at TitanFit.

TitanFit WO

Front Squat = 225 lbs.
Jerk = 155 lbs.

I could’ve gotten more on the Jerk but I tweaked something in my right shoulder @ 155 lbs. so I decided to call it a day.

I have got to have a strenuous training week beginning tomorrow.
